La mobilité vit actuellement une transformation profonde. Elle est à la fois la conséquence et la cause de l’émergence de nouveaux acteurs qui bouleversent le statu quo, forcent ceux en place à revoir leur stratégie en profondeur et rapidement, mais aussi aident ces derniers à se repositionner.
Startups ou géants de la tech, ces nouveaux acteurs offrent des solutions de mobilité innovantes, de nouveaux business models ou de la technologie de pointe. Ils forcent une accélération des quatre grandes tendances de la mobilité, à savoir le véhicule autonome, et connecté, la propulsion électrique, et de nouvelles solutions de mobilité partagée.
La Silicon Valley joue depuis 5 à 10 ans un rôle essentiel dans cette transformation. Les acteurs locaux ont été d’abord dénigrés par l'industrie, puis considérés comme des ennemis à battre. L’heure est aujourd’hui aux partenariats, aux expérimentations communes, aux prises de participation ou acquisitions.
A quoi ressemble l’écosystème Mobilité de la Silicon Valley ? Comment fonctionne-t-il ? Comment collaborent acteurs historiques et émergents ? Sur quels sujets les ressources sont-elles concentrées ? Pourquoi la Silicon Valley a-t-elle un tel effet d’entrainement sur l’industrie automobile ?
Basé au coeur de la Silicon Valley, Marc Amblard (Arts et Métiers Cl184, MBA U. of Michigan) a 25 ans d’expérience au sein de PSA, Valeo, Renault, et Alstom Tra nsport, en Europe et aux USA.
Managing Director d'Orsay Consulting, il conseille des constructeurs, équipementiers et autres opérateurs établis de la mobilité (scouting, stratégie, corporate development) ainsi que des startups sur des sujets liés à l'électrification, la conduite autonome, le véhicule connecté et la mobilité partagée.

He arrived in the United States 25 years ago as a strategist for Bain & Company, the management consultancy, before becoming a Senior Vice President at Disney in Los Angeles. Vinciguerra had an executive role at Dell for six years, before joining Sotheby's in New York in 2007. As COO, he was responsible for the global management of Sotheby’s.
At Bonhams, Vinciguerra splits his time between offices in New York, where he is based, and London, Hong Kong and Los Angeles. His focus is on investing in talent, innovation and the digital footprint.
