In the course of dinner, social conversation focused on life in Silicon Valley, the economic downturn, the future of startups, and of course, the strategic direction of Arts et Metiers ParisTech. Xavier Wartelle volunteered to visit the school in July and report back on future plans for the 2009-10 school year. Claude Leglise offered to draft a memo of tips to help Arts et Metiers ParisTech students increase their chances to secure an internship in the U.S. [This memo was posted in the Internship section of this website]. We are grateful to all who traveled from far away (Modesto) to have a chance to gather with fellow alumnis for this event.
